The Comics Dungeon has been in Seattle since the early 1990s. The Dungeon was opened by Marv Brost, a definite icon in Seattle comics. Marv set the groundwork for this great store, establishing his business on the underground, adult and mainstream comics! After nearly 10 years of operation, Marv left the store and Steven Beard took over. Steve continued the energy in the store, his work at the Dungeon for nearly 13 years broadened its offering to include great toys, T-shirts and statues! In 2005, Scott Tomlin purchased the store and is excited to bring it back to the elite store in Seattle. Scott is putting the focus back on Silver-Age comics for the grown-up kids as well as welcoming families back to the industry. You will continue to see a great selection of Independent publishers, great T-Shirts and an awesome selection of toys and current comic books by the big guys.

Most knowledgeable staff around. Excellent subscription service. I have been a loyal customer for over ten years. Nuff said.
my girlfriend takes her son there all the time
I live in Whatcom county and and every trip to Seattle isn't complete with out stop at Comics Dungeon. Easily accessible, knowledgeable and friendly staff and a great stock make CD #1 in my book!
The people are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Plus its subscription service is proficient.
comics!!!!!!!!
The service is ALWAYS friendly and they have the best subscription deal in town.
Great selection, good service, and committed owners make this a winner among comics stores.
Friendly staff, nice store layout, excellent selection of merchandise.
Best subscription plan for a comic shop in all of Washington. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable employees. I have been a weekly customer for the last three for both those reasons.
Friendly Service and Wonderful staff.
The best store in Washington
Best comic store staff I've ever seen or heard of.
i've never gone to a more amazing comic shop in my life. it was full of life and creativity, and i highly recomend this place for everything from comics to figurines
Great stuff!
What a comic shop should be------- Eclectic, diverse, with a staff that knows the medium. And LOTS of back issues !!!!
Great shop - friendly knowledgable staff, great selection of current back to golden age, action figures, t-shirts, trade paperbacks - the works!
I've been shopping at CD for over a decade and I still have to say they are the best store in Seattle. However the gap IS closing rapidly. Newcomers such as Arcane with a strong business sense are creating more competition.
Additionally while the staff is still top notch (If Chris ever leaves..so do I) the store has suffered somewhat by their success. When you have over 400 subscription boxes mistakes are to be expected . Especially in their current space which IMO is far too small for their current volume of business.
They would really benefit from an interactive website with an online ordering system.
Wide selection, including esoteric videos and collectibles. Knowledgeable staff.
Best-diddly-est comic store ever! Great selection of titles from the big three down to the smallest publishers. They are the ONLY shop in Seattle to go to for back issues. The staff is incredibly friendly and well-versed in the way of comics. The geek-fu is strong with them.
My favorite one-stop-shopping place for comic book items. Friendly staff, great deals....you just can't go wrong with this place!!
