With a background as a vet assistant and former no-kill shelter employee, I specialize in care for medically fragile and geriatric pets, and can work with you and your vet to provide supportive nursing care for end-of-life or post-operative animals.
I strive to stay abreast of current information on animal behavior and learning, and my handling techniques use only positive reinforcement to support your training goals. I have a special ability to gain the trust of fearful and / or anxious animals.
