Taichi Kitamura is a sushi chef, avid fly fisher and food lover owns and operates Chiso restaurant in Fremont district in Seattle. He was born in Kyoto, raised in the family that operated a few kissaten Café in the city until he came to America to attend school in the Seattle area. Chiso is known for its authentic dishes and fantastic atmosphere. Let the staff at Chiso take care of you and your guests.
Nice atmosphere and inventive menu. We had a salad with various types of salmon that was amazing.

Hands down, my favorite restaurant in Seattle! Omakase dinner prepared by owner, Hiro, or tall man Luke is ALWAYS a hit. These two are masters of their craft and keep things interesting by trying new combinations and preparations. Only the best cuts of fish and fresh ingredients are used at Chiso. Part of me hopes they don't win this honor... I like being able to belly up at the bar without a lengthy wait :)

By far the best sushi in seattle. After finding Chiso, we go out of our way to get our sushi fix in fremont.
