We go there often, and the kids enjoy the hands on fun. They can role play, paint and interact with each other. In a fun and positive way

It is a fun, hands-on learning environment. The story rooms have props for the children to act-out two native american stories. They also have a slightly limited-access free day, which makes it more accessable to me.

Special activities for kids that are not preattached to programs or camps already going on at the museum, for instance Bubble Time at 11am everyday. Plus an overall fun atmosphere and staff.

I would highly recommend the Children's Museum of Tacoma because every child is able to learn through play and exploration. The children can read, watch, and re-tell stories as well as express their creative and pretend play skills in the art room and grocery store! This museum has a lot to offer children and tons of information to guide parent-child play and learning at home.

As a child I visited the museum and have vivid memories of playing in the post-office and creating. I now bring the children I nanny and know that our visits are building lasting memories for them as well.

It's just the right size so that there's enough to keep kids occupied for a while, and it's perfect for rainy days!

It's the best place around for kids to explore, play, and learn at their own pace. Adults can find many ways to connect with their kids and learn a bit, too. We love the Museum!
