Hospitality? It's moving oneself aside to make room for the other. Experience? It is not just food, nor wine, nor service, nor view, nor even ambience. Not any of these, but all of these. We'd like nothing more than for you to experience hospitality.
“What does Canlis mean?” a guest recently asked me. It always makes me smile to realize many people don't know it's our name. “I'm Mark Canlis,” I said. “It means you're in good hands.”
Oh everything to ever vote for on this poll of the NW's pulse...this is the most no-brainer. Canlis DEFINES quality in both experience and food. Their prices may seem inflated for some, but all told, it is worth it at least once. Or twice. Or once a year for life. ;)

They made me a completely vegan meal - not on the menu, without complaint or question. The service is fantasic from the time you pull up until you drive away.
