Felicity Milne has been involved in creating gourmet food for 28 years. Enjoying a passion for both traveling and cooking, she combined the two after beginning her culinary career at the Cordon Bleu Cooking School in South Africa (her country of origin). Her travels and talent took her from New York State across the country to San Francisco, Tahoe, Hawaii, England and finally settling in the San Juan Islands in Washington State.
Felicity opened and operated Felicitations Bakery in Friday Harbor from 1998 until 2003 where the community was treated to everything from bread, pastries, soups and cakes. After closing the bakery, she spent 4 years at the historical Rosario Resort on Orcas island where she continued her love of pastry work as their Executive Pastry Chef. Creating about 40-50 wedding cakes a year, she discovered her love for the art of wedding cake design. Returning to Friday Harbor, Felicitations Bakery re-opens with the exclusive niche of custom made wedding cakes.
