I have been enjoying and preparing specialty coffee products for three decades in cities all over the world, and Ladro's espresso is the best I have ever tasted. Their customer service is unbeatable!
Besides the Pine location being convenient and service swift, the staff goes above and beyond and are each great individuals. And yes, that is true for both the female and male baristas. It is dog friendly with a welcoming and clean patio outside, is great to people watch and interact, and although I still forget the name of my favorite and regular frozen beverage, Celeste knows exactly which one I get and how I prefer it. The attention and observance are amazing. Oh yeah, and great variety of music that I actually ask "who is this?" instead of having to look at the back of a cd case or screen, and that isn't a continuous cozy or smooth mellow track. Thanks to all of you at Ladro under Tower 801! They're just as helpful towards my day as the caffeine!! -John Botello

Not only is all of their coffee fair trade and organic, they take the time to make every cup juuuuust right.
Baked goods are out of this world, and priced right, vice the inflated prices you find at the chain stores.
