I used to live in Auburn and loved Candy's shop. I moved to Florida 9 years ago and go back to Seattle almost every year. I never fail to visit By The Red Barn and it's wonderful owner. I love everything in her shop as well as her Mom's home made cookies.

Not only is there always a wonderful selection of unique items, Candy creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, we feel like we are visiting family. We always find a great gift for a loved one or something we just can't resist for ourselves. Stop by and see for yourself......you will get hooked too.....
They have the cutest gift ideas and decorations galore! The owner is always in and makes you feel at home handwrapping each item w/ care! ;)
I love the gift shop....it offers a variety of unique gifts that work forr the person who has everything!! The selection of gifts range from children to very mature adults!! Candace has great taste!

A lovely little shop with LOTS of wonderful (and many unique) gifts to discover for family and friends (and yourself too!!) You can stop in for a quick gift or spend time meandering through the shop at your own pace (very relaxed atmosphere). My husband enjoys stopping by too and always manages to find something there to delight me. And you can't beat the prices. :-)

Very pleasant service. We always feel important to Candy, the proprietor. We don't want to leave once we are in the shop. Fun atmosphere. We feel like home. And there are fun and new things every time we go.

This little gift shop adorns 108th in Kent, WA. It is located directly across from an elementary school and is a favorite stop for many of the locals in Kent. It is one our our best kept secrets, but I implore you to visit Candy's quaint little shop. Quality gifts, friendly conversation, and during the winter months, a taste of freshly brewed cider.
