This is a view of Boreas Inn from the beach-side. Boreas feels like a little exclusive beach resort with its own private trail to the beach intersecting the 8 mile-long paved Discovery Trail bordering the ocean. Five blocks south is a 1/2 mile long raised wooden Long Beach Boardwalk. A perfect spot!

The most romantic place on the coast.
Excellent food, adaptability for taste preferences and special diets, gracious hosts, gorgeous rooms with great views, easy access to the beach, able to accommodate children and families in the adjacent Beach House. I especially enjoyed the hot tub, flower beds, herb teas and reading selection, and the wild scrub pines on the way to the beach.
Uber friendly service! Once you taste the scrumptous breakfasts that Bill and Susie make you won't want to leave! The most relaxing B & B I have ever stayed at!
Never Stayed there but have been friends with Suzy and Bill for 15 years. We were innkeepers on the Peninsula for 10 years and they have always kept an awesome house and Bill is a way cool cook
Boreas is the best because Bill and Susie go to great lengths to make you feel welcome, special and like they've been just waiting for you to return. Their breakfasts are the best and their personal attention to each and every guest is amazing. They are number 1!!!!!!!!
An amazing place with fabulous Innkeepers. I try to visit as often as I can. AND a great place for family celebrations! We stayed for my son and mom's birthdays last year - Susie and Bill really made it a special time!
I love old building and houses. The Boreas was very elegant, charming with warmth and character! If you want to explore the beach, relax in the jacuzzi or read that book you wanted to get to, but never have the time, this is the place to go!
The Boreas has this breakfast (3 COURSES!) It is just fabulous! It was soooo delicious! You won't need to eat for a while!
We will definitely be going back!!

The most incredible 5* breakfasts made of fresh local ingredients! First course consists of selection of home-baked breads, scones, muffins, etc. along with an elegant fresh fruit serving with a creme anglaise. This will be followed perhaps, by an entree of Chicken Sausage with Sundried Tomatoes and a Smoked Sturgeon Frittata with Fresh local Mushrooms, cream cheese, or Triple Ginger Waffles, Lemon Pancakes. The entrees are served with fresh fruit also and all the Cafe Mam coffee you want!
Each of the rooms are different, yet they all have wonderful views of the ocean. The rooms are spacious with glorious antique furniture, sumptuous fabrics and feather beds. You have a private walkway down to the beach and your own jacuzzi you can reserve at any time.
It is cozy, warm, and always filled with friends it seems. That is the greatest thing about Boreas, the sense of family there. A family of friends where we applaud each other's gains and share in each other's loss and sorrows.
Susie and Bill are the most wonderful hosts, helping you with whatever needs you have. Whether it be maps to the local lighthouses to making reservations for dinner that night. Believe me, after the huge breakfast ~ you will not need anything to eat until late dinner!

The best breakfast and service we have experienced. Wonderful comftorable rooms and great hospitality. We have stayed once a year at Boreas for the last 12 years! Susie and Bill take care of everything for you so you can have have a stress free time and enjoy.

Boreas is a relaxing, cozy B&B with amazing breakfeasts (yes, a feast... you don't need lunch if you've partaken their morning's multi-course gourmet delights) and even more amazing personal, quality concierge service from your hosts, Susie and Bill. The private hot tub in the dunes is an oasis! Highly recommended & enjoyed!
It's simple and relaxing. Owners are very familiar with the area and can suggest great places to go and eat. Place is wonderful. Susie is a great cook. Very personable.
