“Big Irish” Jay Hollingsworth is a baby-faced giant from Oregon who started his comedy career in Boston before moving to Seattle, WA. where he quickly became a well-known face in the comedy scene. His quick wit and high energy performances immediately make you feel like you’re sharing a beer with an old friend… an old, hilarious, uncensored friend.
At 6 feet 8 inches tall, Jay stands out in the comedy world by speaking on a range of topics from the ten years he taught martial arts, to being a self proclaimed “mutant”. No matter what the topic, Jay’s unique views will leave you rolling in the aisles.
Currently, Jay is the Host and MC at the Parlor Live Comedy Club in Bellevue, Washington, the premiere comedy venue in the Northwest. He also hosts and produces the “Five with Parlor Live” podcast and the weekly “New Faces Showcase” to help promote up-and-coming comedians as well as national headliners.
