Wonderful assortment with casual friendly atmosphere
Love their specially brewed root beer! Don't have to be an ale drinker to love Big E's!! and the food are great. Won't find a better place for that special occasion.

They have an amazing selection of beers and a comfortable, inviting brew pub that I love going to! The staff are friendly and it is a true family owned and operated business.
The whole crew at Big E are always there to take care of their local community. Their open/closed sign rarely reflects wheather they are actually closed or not. These guys are great, and the beer is spectacular.

First of all, BIG E should win in this category because they make and serve amazing beer without pretense. Secondly, the Ellersicks should win because they contribute immeasurably to the community - located in a wasteland of corporate restaurants they provide a warm, congenial gathering place. BIG E is truly a family's labor of love, the Ellersicks donate to local social service, sports, and educational organizations and quietly make the world a better place - one beer at a time.
