Welcome to Bikram Yoga of Bellevue. As the eastside's only official Bikram studio, we offer the best place to begin or continue your Bikram yoga practice. We exceed national standards required by Bikram's Yoga College of India; all of our instructors are certified by Bikram, and we provide a room that matches his recipe of ideal conditions for the body.
Bikram yoga is a system of poses designed for beginners, and so wonderfully complete it appeals to students of all levels. Out of thousands of yoga poses, Bikram Choudhury chose 26 that are beneficial for all bodies, no matter how tired, injured, sick or old! Every pose starts and ends in a neutral position; you don't have to complete one pose to get to the next. This allows you to move therapeutically; to the extent your body allows. The basic postures are practiced in a heated room which promotes flexibility, improves circulation, and provides a detoxifying effect. The benefits are amazing (see Benefits tab on left).
To further promote your health and well being we have added massage services in two adorable Tiki-style huts. Many clients schedule a massage right after class to take advantage of a body that is less tight and more supple and a mind that is already relaxed.
