The 104th class of tigers just graduated from the brown castle overlooking Puget Sound!! That's right, Stadium High School is over 100 years old, and is inside a castle with water views from half the building! Originally built to be Hotel it was renovated and opened as a high school in 1906. Six years ago the School underwent a 2 year renovation totaling over $100 million. It reopened in 2006 to celebrate its Centennial! The beautiful Castle is now accompanied by an exquisit Performing Arts Center!
Equally as historic, a Stadium (hence the current high school name) Bowl was built into the neighboring gulch in 1910 and will be celebrating its Centennial this weekend!
The Stadium Tigers are full of spirit! They have to be to climb 6 flights of stairs between classes! There is always a large fan base at school events, from football to frisbee and Marimbas to Musicals!
