Beecher's Handmade Cheese in Seattle makes fresh artisanal cheeses daily in their retail store. Pike Place shoppers sit on milk jug stools at the metal counter, eating lunch and watching cheesemakers handcraft fresh cheese daily in big, bathtub-like vats. The macaroni and cheese here is practically a local celebrity--a rich, gooey mix of penne and their award-winning flagship and Just Jack cheeses. The store also offers samples of fresh cheese curds and crackers, and has a large selection of artisan cheese and accessories for sale.

Thank you for opening in NYC! If you all connect with your Bandon, Oregon roots...keep an eye on Face Rock Creamery opening there in Summer 2013! Tillamook bought out the creamery there over 10 years ago and tore it down about the time Bandon dairy farmers began supplying milk for you all. Bandon is getting it starting all over and thank goodness!
