At Barrier, we deliver the highest level of personal service and attention to everyone. After establishing a successful automotive career in the Eastern United States, Jimmy Barrier founded Barrier Motors, Inc. Moving to Bellevue, Mr. Barrier oversaw the construction and Grand Opening of Barrier Motors and the new Mercedes-Benz store in April of 1985. Success was immediate and he, along with his wife, Patty Barrier, fell instantly in love with the beautiful Northwest and its inhabitants. They have been actively involved in their adopted community through various charitable and civic concerns ever since. In the years since, Barrier Motors has grown to encompass four new automotive franchises: Volvo, Porsche, Audi, and of course, Mercedes-Benz.
