great theater, low price, right in the neighborhood!
ArtsWest has never chosen the run of the mill artwork and plays to show like all of the other galleries and theatres. And they do not choose things that they know will bring in money, they choose things that they know will give their visitors something to think about.Their quest isn't to make a profit, its to change the world one amazing painting or show at a time.

Amazing shows, amazing program for young performers.
This theatre puts on some great performances that are as good as anything at the Rep and even in New York and London. The theatre is small and intimate and makes one feel like you are a part of the set. It is fantastic and such great productions are done here. I have had season tickets since it opened ten years ago and still love each play and look forward to each new season. Definitely 5 stars plus!!!
ArtsWest chooses plays that always provoke discussion and stay with you long after you leave the theater. I have never been disappointed. This theater is truly a gem.

They offer innovative and thought-provoking theater and the acting is tremendous. It's also a very intimate setting with great seats no matter where you sit. They just do amazing things and their children's program is very impressive as well.
Always a great cast, a variety of topics and super group of
employees that are always there to help with any needs. You
can tell the staff enjoys their jobs.

ArtsWest has great performances by local actors. You can get a world class performace without the expense of having to drive to Downtown Seattle. Centrally located in West Seattle, there is great parking (free) and fantastic restaraunts visit. For the public transportation crowd, you have direct access and restaruants are within walking distance. Who wouldn't want to be there!
High-quality and innovative productions at this intimate, local theater and gallery. Great nearby dining and desert options.
Consistently amazing acting and direction. Particularly love the summer conservatory programs for youth. Gives an opportunity for a wonderful evening out-- nearby restaurants and free parking paired with professional theater at an affordable price make an easy, memorable experience.
