Love this neighborhood theatre. The plays are current, promote great post play discussions, and include variety: drama, comedy, and musicals. Friendly staff and volunteers. They have a good concessions. Local artists grace the walls, and local jewlery, glass, and pottery artists are in the display cases for sale.
They are the best neighborhood theatre in any neighborhood. Period.
Exciting new works--on stage and on the walls. Plays that entertain and invite post-performance thought and conversation.
At ArtsWest, it seems to always be about helping people connect about our daily lives. They always have great play choices, wonderful acting, low price, and free parking. ArtsWest is simply the best theater value in all of Seattle. Even in a bad economy, ArtsWest is the one thing we'll never cut because we don't even think of it as a luxury.
ArtsWest is a great theater! Highly recommend seeing a play or getting season tickets.
Great plays that make you think. Amazing productions in a wonderful space. Plus love West Seattle for the great restaurants and tons of parking.

Arts West produce a wonderful variety of plays. Dares to have new material, with very controversial human emotions. The directors and cast are always professional with great talent. Wonderful place to enjoy a very well produced product. They also have a summer session for children, teaching them the arts which culminates in an excellent production at the end of the summer.
ArtsWest is an incredible resource for the Puget Sound region. They consistently stage quality works, often premiering new work. The theater is intimate and well suited for a variety of performances.
I thought the line up they had last year was wonderful. This years plays are even better. Keep up the good work ArtsWest.
Great plays, great casts, wonderful space!
ArtsWest is, by far, doing the best and most pointedly remarkable plays in the city of Seattle -- including the Rep, ACT, Intiman, and all the rest. The topics are progressive in nature, the acting is terrific, and the choices of plays are the kind that MAKE you have a conversation with your date, mate, or perfect stranger. The facility is great, and the neighborhood is fantastic, with at least a dozen restaurants within about 2 blocks of the front door. On top of everything else, the price is cheap -- especially compared to other theaters in town -- and the parking is free and plentiful. And it's only about 10 minutes from my house in Capitol Hill. It's a joy to go because there just isn't another theater in town that asks me to be a part of the process as ArtsWest does. I'm very much looking forward to the next play, which is a world premiere. It sounds pretty darn wild.
A small, intimate and excellent theatre located in the heart of the West Seattle Business District!
