I recently saw some of her work and fell in love - scheduled a session with one of my dogs, brought 3 because we were to going to be in Seattle, and we could do some Seattle dog things ; )
She did not bat an eye, she offered to do all three of them during our session, AND, she talked me into being in a picture, which I was not sure about.
The dog photos were BEAUTIFUL, and the photo with me and my dogs is one of my husband's favorite photos (and honestly, it is one my my very favorites also), and friends and family all just love it - they were so impressed with her work.
I have professional photos done of my dogs a lot, it is just something I like to do every year or so, and I have met a lot of good photographers, but she had something special, and it really showed.
Alyssa is great with dogs and people. She got the best shots of our dog Ella and the shoot was so much fun!
We did a photography session with our goofy Great Dane and he was sliding all over her studio, almost taking out her lights and she just laughed and kept on shooting. It was a fun and crazy shoot and the pictures turned out beautifully.
She was also was our photographer for our engagement session and wedding pictures. She is fun to work with and her use of angles and lighting is amazing. Our pictures always turn out great and have that extra artistic flair that makes them stand out above the rest. She will be my photographer from here on out and I trust in her work completely.
Alyssa was wonderful. She has a way of making you at home, which was difficult since I had two 'active' labs and it was really hot that day! Even with water all over the floor from sloppy drinkers, she was able to catch the right moment to snap some great pictures. Because of Alyssa's pictures, my girls are now official Olly Dogs and can be seen in their up coming catalog. Best of all, I wouldn't have even known about Alyssa except she donated her sitting fee to the SPCA....Beautiful work and a beautiful heart.
We were extremely surprised at how amazing our pet photo shoot turned out, not because of Alyssa's lack of photographic ability, but based on the chaos that ensued when my dogs were given free rein in her studio. They adored Alyssa and had a great time and will try to enter her studio any time we are walking in the neighborhood. It was an impossible task trying to choose from all the wonderful photos she took as she managed to capture the wonderful personalities of our canine babies.
Alyssa Rose has a talent for photography like I have not seen in a long time. You will be blown away at the quality of her work, the timeliness of her schedule and the attention to detail. The best of the the best!
