We attended the Rachelle Longe/Scott McGhee wedding reception in the Library Bistro. It fit the amount of people who attended very comfortably & was not cramped or uncomfortable. Great that there's a bar in the Bistro as well as another in the hotel in case people want to "get away" for a minute. The food was fantastic & the setup was convenient & appropriate.
The Alexis was very easy to work with, friendly and thorough - no detail was overlooked. The "dog-friendly" was a plus for our daughter and son-in-law's 2 puggies. All comments that we received from guests were raves about how beautiful of a venue, how attentive the staff, and how wonderful the food was! Awesome!
It's a beautiful setting, friendly staff, and great for gatherings.
I went to Kim & Jerry wedding in october 2008 it was beautiful, food was great and everyone was friendly!
our granddaughter Rachelle Longe had her wedding reception at t the Library Bistro. Everything about the Bistro was perfect for a wedding reception, especially with the wonderful atmosphere of the books surrounding us.

I went to Kristy and Nick Vanisko's wedding in March 09 and I loved the place and the service that we had. Valet parking guys were so helpful and the staff in general made the whole thing stress free for them.
Jerry and Kim Martin's wedding was so beautiful. The hotel was modern and elegant. The food was amazing. It was the perfect intimate wedding. They are an adorable truly happy couple and I wish them many years of happiness.
We attended the Jerry & Kim Martin wedding and it was an absolute fabulous venue. The location and charm of downtown Seattle was a key factor.
At first I was giving Jerry a bunch of grief for making me a replacement guest for another couple that could not show. However, after attending the wedding and experiencing Jerry and Kimberly Martin's ceremony at the Alexis, I was so glad I had the opportunity to go. The food was just awesome, and the service was over the top. The hotel is really cool, and a quick tour around the building and up 1st avenue proved to make the whole experience so much fun. I would definitely recommend the Alexis to anyone for an event or an evening out. The glimpse I got of the honeymoon suite was remarkable too!
October 18, 2008 my wife and I attended Jerry and Kimberly Martin's wedding at the Alexis Hotel. It was a very special night, not only because Jerry and Kim were getting married, but also because we were able to share with friends a new baby on the way.
The venue was spectacular, and the food was top notch! Jerry and Kim opted for a smaller wedding (around 50 people), and the Bistro restaurant where they had the ceremony and meal was perfectly suited for an event that size. I remember mini-rueben sandwiches and the crab cakes in particular.
The decor was comfortable and elegant, and the service of the hotel staff was perfect. I would highly recommend the Alexis for a wedding or other event based on how Jerry and Kim's wedding came off.

The restaurant was an ideal setting for a party of their size, and the food and service were excellent! I had some time to walk around the lobby and hallways, and was greeted by many smiling faces and helpful staff.
Having the valet option downtown was great, and it was probably one of the more enjoyable weddings I have attended.
Last October my husband and I attended the wedding of Jerry and Kim Martin at the Alexis hotel. The venue was amazing! They got married in a smaller ceremony in the Bistro area of the hotel, and it was comfortable but still elegant. The food was wonderful, and the service, valet, and attention to detail provided by the food service staff and concierge personnel was excellent. I would love to stay at the Alexis sometime myself. What a beautiful place to get married!
