(avg rating of 18 recs) Write a recommendationIt is one of the most picturesque lighthouses in the country. It is also one of the few that is open to visitors every day in the summer.
Views are in all directions, and other attractions nearby. The museum inside is cool also.
Great view
The view is always changing, never the same. Wonderful!
The displays, the knowlagable docents and there are so many interesting things nearby at Ft Casey
Admiralty Head provides a great point to view Pt. Townsend, Vancouver Island and amazing sealife from. What a beautiful lighthouse with an amazing staff of docents.
This lighthouse has wonderful historical pieces inside as well as housing working offices for WSU Extension Service. The setting is dramatic especially when huge ships go by so close it seems you can touch them.
Beautiful location. Provides excellent history of this particular lighthouse and lighthouses in general. Dedicated and friendly docents to greet and inform the public. Weddings reservations available when the lighthouse is not open to the public. Great gift shop!
It's great historical site in a beautiful location in Washington state.
First of all it's incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The other reason is that my family has a history going back a few years with this lighthouse as my sister-in-law was a curator of it for a while.
It's the most wonderful little lighthouse in the world to me. I lived in the old place for three years as an Interpretive Specialist for the State Parks. Incredible views, incredible sunsets, incredible memories!
the most eligant.
It's the best! Unique architecture, get location, fantastic view, the best lighthouse gift shop, open every day in June, July and August, even open weekends during the Christmas holidays. It's located in Ft. Casey State Park so you get a great 2 for when you visit. It's just an easy day trip from Seattle. Friendly folks volunteer to keep the lighthouse open. Admission is FREE.
The most scenic of the easy access lighthouses. Best gift shop. Friendliest staff.
i love Whidbey Island and the lighthouse is beautiful against the Admiralty Inlet and the Olympic Mountains.
As a navy brat, whenever my dad was stationed away from Washington, a picture of this lighthouse would always remind me of home. Not only is this lighthouse beautiful, but Fort Casey is the best place to play and fly kites.
