Von's 801 Mallet like all other models reveal the initial date of manufacture. August of 2001 was first time this design was introduced. Weighing 370 grams raw, the balance when shafted is hefty yet comfortable. It is offered in various designs.

The best golf shop I've ever been to! Jim is an expert at fitting and he can surely fit anyone with the right clubs. He fit me with an Alpha Golf driver and a set of RX-1 irons. I love them. Jim and my new clubs make my game so much more enjoyable!

Von's golf has completely changed my golf game for the good. Before buying clubs from Jim I shot in the 115's and now after new clubs and several lessons, and about three years, I am shooting in the low 80's.
There are no better golf shops anywhere. I have known Jim Von Lossow for a number of years. He is patient as an instructor and accurate to a tee. He can fit you with a hat, putter or an entire set of clubs and makes sure they are right. I know because any money I have spent at Von's golf I have gotten 8 or 10 times it's value. Can't put a price on good equipment or a great day golfing. When I am able I will bring my kids to Von's when they are ready.

Jim has built a couple of drivers for me that have helped reduce my handicap by 5 points.
Jim Von Lossow (Von) knows putters. Particularly putters on the heavy side. I researched and experimented for putters for years - finally bought a von's and it is great. Also got Certified Balance weights from him since I also believe in weighting the grip end. The best putter maker you've probably never heard of...yet.
Extremely knowledgeable and willing to help all abilities.
